Traditional washing of Carpets, Kilims and Tapestries

We carry out a traditional washing of carpets, kilims and tapestries. We proceed as follows:
We carefully beat the carpet once to remove as much dust as possible.
We pre-wash the carpet with open-circuit water to prevent the dyes from running during the washing process.
Always with an open circuit, we will wash the carpet completely with soapy water and an anti-moth product.
We rinse the carpet several times to remove the last residues.
We roll up the carpet with a filter on a suitable cylinder.
We brush the carpet in the direction of the pile.
We dry the carpet in a hot air tunnel.
The carpet is then beated one last time.
